PLANNING TRANSFORMED: HOW HAWES & CURTIS ELEVATED SALES AND STOCK VISIBILITY

Hawes & Curtis Elevates Sales and Stock Visibility

Heritage menswear brand Hawes & Curtis had outgrown their Excel-based planning setup, with stock intake and weekly performance becoming increasingly difficult to track as the business grew. The goal was to implement a tailored MFP and WSSI solution on board, delivering real-time insight, a consistent planning process, and intuitive dashboards to replace their reliance on spreadsheets.

They've all worked in the industry as well, so they've got that great level of detail.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

Hawes & Curtis needed a centralised platform to bring structure and visibility to their sales and stock planning. Their existing Excel-based approach was limiting agility as the business scaled, making it harder to track weekly performance and stock intake with confidence. The project focused on implementing a robust MFP and WSSI framework, alongside week-by-week reporting dashboards, with a deliberately lightweight and collaborative delivery approach that kept the team engaged and the solution grounded in their day-to-day reality.

A particularly widespread and recognised method is the Discounted Cash Flow method, or DCF for short. But how exactly does this method work – and why is it considered to be so particularly meaningful?
