Too time-consuming, prone to error and not\u00a0very homogenous: the purchasing planning was no longer in\u00a0line with the dynamic business environment and ran the risk\u00a0of losing sight of important key factors in a too slow planning\u00a0process. The goal was to integrate data\u00a0from a wide range of source systems using the Jedox\u00a0Integrator to merge relevant KPIs from different data sources\u00a0for a uniform planning process. It should also be possible to\u00a0provide historical data as a basis for planning to an entirely\u00a0new extent. The planning process was aimed at a top-down\u00a0planning of the financial goals in combination with a\u00a0bottom-up planning on a more detailed level of the product\u00a0hierarchy. Results of this approach should be to derive\u00a0qualified guidelines for ranges and to optimise the supply\u00a0chain and warehousing to eliminate lost sales or reduced\u00a0profits by closeouts or
